A poop party? It may sound gross, but that’s what three-year-old Audrey from Missouri wanted for her birthday. As it turns out, it was a pretty cool idea!

Her mother, Rebecca, said that whenever she asked her daughter how she would like to celebrate her birthday, her little girl would say “poop.” She revisited the question many times, too, but Audrey's preferences didn't seem to change.

“Every time we mentioned her party, Audrey requested ‘poop balloons and a poop cake,’” Rebecca said to The Huffington Post.

Mom and Dad eventually caved in to their daughter's strange request and threw Audrey the poop emoji birthday party of her dreams in October. Rebecca even dressed up as a swirl of dung for the occasion.

The party games included “pin the poop” on the toilet and there was a poop-shaped piñata filled with Hershey’s Kisses and Tootsie Rolls. The guests also received whoopee cushions as a party favour.

The poo-inspired party might have been out of the ordinary, but Rebecca said the guests—yes, even the grandparents—loved the theme and thought it was hilarious.

“I feel like in this time of Facebook and Pinterest, we sometimes get caught up in trying to impress other adults,” Rebecca said. “This party wasn’t for me, it was for Audrey. I love that we will look back at pictures, and it will represent her at three―my funny and quirky little girl.”

This poop party is a fun idea, especially for chocolate lovers with strong stomachs. Just think of the “poop” possibilities: chocolate bars of the nutty variety, chocolate soft ice cream, chocolate cow patties… we think this little girl might be onto something.
