Walking into the event on a zebra-print red carpet, Kate sparkled in a stunning silver-sequin, floor-length gown by her favourite go-to designer, Jenny Packham, and matching Jimmy Choos.
"This is our first evening out without him [Prince George]," Prince William said at the event. "Please excuse us if you see us nervously casting surreptitious glances at mobiles."

Of course, Africa is dear to the royal couple's heart: Not only has it been the focus of William's conservation efforts, inspired by his father, but it's also the place he proposed to Kate — at a private lodge on safari in Kenya.
While this is Kate's first formal event since the birth of her baby boy, it's not the first time we've seen her out and about. She was spotted grocery shopping in Anglesey and surprise co-hosting island's Ring of Fire marathon.
