18 kids’ movies and shows coming to Netflix Canada in November 2018

Netflix Canada has announced which new kids' TV shows and movies it will be adding to its lineup in November 2018 and there's a lot! Read on for details.

But first, an important note: The age recommendations offered below are approximate. Every kid is different, and you're the best judge of what's appropriate and what your kid can handle.

Spy Kids: Mission Critical (season 2)

Best for: Ages 6+ Finally feeling like a real team, the Mission Critical kids face their toughest test as they set out to destroy Golden Brain's lair once and for all. Available November 30.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (season 8)

Best for: Ages 5+ Journey to the enchanted land of Equestria, where unicorn Twilight Sparkle and her pals have adventures and learn valuable lessons about friendship. Available November 12.

The Christmas Chronicles

Best for: Ages 8+ Two siblings team up with Santa Claus for a high-flying holiday adventure. A new Christmas classic from the makers of "Harry Potter" and "Home Alone." Available November 22.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

Best for: Ages 7+ In this reboot of the '80s series, a magic sword transforms an orphan girl into warrior She-Ra, who unites a rebellion to fight against evil. Available November 16.

Shaun the Sheep Movie

Best for: Ages 5+ When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it's up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home. Available November 10.

Prince of Peoria

Best for: Ages 7+ When an easygoing 13-year-old prince goes incognito as a U.S. exchange student, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with a fastidious overachiever. Available November 16.

Ponysitters Club (season 2)

Best for: Ages 6+ Skye and the Rescue Ranch gang return for another round of action-packed adventure, incredible friendship and adorable animals. Available November 16.

The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep

Best for: Ages 6+ A lonely boy discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a sea creature of Scottish legend. Available November 1.

The Flash (season 5)

Best for: Ages 13+ A forensics expert who wakes from a coma with amazing new powers squares off against forces threatening the city in this live-action superhero romp. Available November 14.

Treehouse Detectives (season 2)

Best for: Ages 3+ Brother-and-sister detectives Toby and Teri are back on the case, helping others, being brave -- and asking big questions about the world around them. Available November 9.

Look Who's Talking Too

Best for: Ages 12+ This time, a new baby is on the way, and it's a girl. Wrapped together with the standard conflict between mother and father, Mikey engages in a bit of sibling rivalry with his new sister. Available November 1.

Spirit Riding Free (season 7)

Best for: Ages 6+ Seasons change, and so do Lucky's adventures, whether she's racing through the snow, outsmarting villains or soaring high in the sky! Available November 9.

Beat Bugs (season 3)

Best for: Ages 3+ Music keeps the Beat Bugs going and points the way to problem-solving solutions in another season of fun and adventure. Available November 9.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders

Best for: Ages 7+ Batman and Robin of the 1960s live action series are back in action to take down their fiendish foes united once more against them. Available November 1.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them

Best for: Ages 8+ While visiting New York in 1926, the courageous and eccentric wizard Newt Scamander uncovers a sinister plot that threatens the wizarding community. Available November 7.

Trolls: The Beat Goes On! (season 4)

Best for: Ages 5+ With her sunny attitude, Poppy leads her friends in rescuing Mr. Dinkles, supporting Guy Diamond's new invention and teaching Smidge to be helpful. Available November 2.

Robin Hood

Best for: Ages 13+ In 12th century England, Robin (Russell Crowe) and his band of marauders confront corruption in a local village and lead an uprising against the crown that will forever alter the balance of world power. Available November 7.

Beverly Hills Ninja

Best for: Ages 13+ Chris Farley stars as an unusual ninja fighter in this over-the-top comedy. Available November 1.
