Chiko, a Shiba Inu in Hong Kong, is just about the cutest babysitter ever.

A video was recently posted on YouTube showing Chiko taking such good care of his newborn human brother by gently rocking him to sleep in his baby swing.

Now everyone knows dogs are loyal creatures, but often there's a transition phase to build that love. Not for Chiko. Newborn Leonardo is only eight days old in the video, but Chiko seems to have quickly taken to him like butter on toast.

Watch how adorable the two of them are together in the clip below:

We can't help but smile watching how calm and gentle Chiko is with his paw resting on the swing as it rocks back and forth. He also keeps an endearingly watchful eye on Leonardo the whole time—except at the end of the video when he looks over at the camera as if to say, "Am I doing this the right way?" which is adorable despite the green flash back in his eyes.

You can totally see the bond this pup has with baby Leo, and we're sure they'll grow up to be the best of friends.

Just a reminder though, no matter how tame a dog is, they still have some reflexes that can hurt a baby if a little finger accidentally finds it's way into the dog's eyes or nostrils. Never leave your baby alone with an animal unsupervised.
