Archie Harrison turned six months old on Nov. 6, and while they were out at Remembrance Day events that day, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry told royal watchers and fans some awesome information about their little boy: He’s crawling and teething!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise visit at the Broom Farm Community Centre in Windsor to visit military families. It’s a short drive from the couple’s home of Frogmore Cottage, and while they were there, they met and spoke with the kin of armed services personnel currently stationed overseas.

A sweet video posted to the couple’s SussexRoyal Instagram account shows Meghan kneeling down to speak with a young girl, who is holding an orange rose to give the duchess.

“Look at all your teeth!” Meghan exclaims in the clip, before gesturing to the child’s bottom gum and saying, “Archie just got two teeth. Some tiny ones, right there.” Meghan also took some time to chat with Amy Thompson, whose husband Brad is in the Welsh Guards, and revealed busy little Archie is eagerly on the move at home. She and Harry must be thrilled to see how much their little boy has changed in six months.

“My daughter Aeris is the same age as Archie and we talked about weaning and the children beginning to crawl—she’s just a normal mum and it was like talking to a friend,” Amy said, according to BBC News.

Harry and Meghan also showed off their empathy during the visit, with the duke telling families he found it hard to think about how difficult it must be to be away from one’s children on military service.

“I can’t imagine what it’s like to miss so much as they change so quickly,” he said.

Harry and Meghan, who have always been incredibly good with kids, also made sure to spend plenty of time with the little ones he met while they were at Broom. Several adorable photos posted to the couple’s Instagram account show Harry picking up a girl and the couple getting right down to eye level to chat with other children. Archie is in such good hands and we can’t wait to see him grow up with such supportive, caring parents.

This was the first of four engagements for Harry and Meghan this week. On Nov. 7, they stepped out to the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey so they could leave crosses there. The annual memorial is set up to recognize the anniversary of the end of World War I and memorialize those who lost their lives in that conflict and others since, including World War II, the Korean War and the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.

On Nov. 9, the duke and duchess will join Prince William and Duchess Kate, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla and the Queen at the Festival at Remembrance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The next day, they’ll all step out to the cenotaph at Whitehall for Remembrance Sunday services. The Prince of Wales will lay a wreath in the Queen’s stead.
