We're on Day 28 of the Great Kate Wait, and there's still no baby!
Some dedicated royal watchers have been camped outside St. Mary's Hospital, where Kate will deliver the royal baby, for days—some for more than a week. And this morning, they got a special treat from William and Kate. The royal couple sent over 10 coffees and two boxes of croissants and danishes.
"The Duke and Duchess have seen the news reports about these people camping out, and they just wanted to let them know they were thinking of them," Kensington Palace told the Daily Mail.
Now—I'm not going to lie—I'm quite offended. I've been waking up every day at 3 a.m. to catch the latest royal baby news. I'm exhausted. I've actually been having nightmares that I will miss the royal birth. But I'm dedicated to this royal watch. Where are my croissants and coffee, Will and Kate? Guess I'll have to buy my own.
And of course, here's the latest on the royal baby's arrival. Kate's a few days overdue and will likely be induced. There was a flutter of excitement this morning when a few press officers arrived at the hospital. Sadly, they were there to answer the media's questions. Nuts!
When will this baby arrive? Clearly, Kate has not read our tips on how to start your labour. I highly recommend she dance that baby out.
Here's hoping the baby is born tomorrow, on William and Kate's anniversary?! Until then, I will be chugging tea to stay awake—that's a subtle cue to you Will and Kate to send me some!
