The royal cutie had his first day of school!

Today, January 6, was a big day for Prince George. He went to his first day of nursery school.

Both mom and dad dropped him off at Westacre Montessori School, which is just a short drive from the family's Norfolk home.

Can we talk about how adorable George looks? His hair is so wavy (he gets that from his momma) and I love that he's wearing a barbour jacket—he's so British. His coat is from John Lewis, but is unfortunately sold out.

His blue backpack (or rucksack as the Brits say) is just so sweet and so big! I wonder what he has in there? Probably some trucks and trains. He loves those!

It's probably too cold for George to wear his signature shorts and knee socks, which is a shame.

Mum Kate captured these adorable shots. I love how insanely normal William and Kate are. Yes, George is the future king, but right now he's just a normal toddler going to school. There was no press there taking photos of him, like they were for William's big day.

George isn't going to a private nursery, but a local school that charges just $70/day. He will be going for a few mornings a week before returning to Anmer Hall for nap time with mum and Princess Charlotte.

Here's one more shot of George admiring the art. I mean, can he be any more adorable?
