I know this is the dorkiest thing to say and that, as a celebrity news blogger, I should never ever ever say it, but she really is just like us.
The Duchess of Cambridge—aka Kate Middleton—was recently spotted sporting a gorgeous new personalized necklace, and I think you'll want to see it because it's really sweet. Ready? Say it with me: Love!
The Duchess's necklace features a disc with Prince George's name on it, a heart with the initial W (for Prince William, of course), and a boy-shaped charm. It hails from the UK store Merci Maman—you can even purchase the exact replica of "The Duchess Necklace" yourself at the online boutique.
Before Prince George was born, Merci Maman's founder, Beatrice de Montille, apparently sent the necklace to Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, requesting that she give it to Kate—knowing that Kate loves her some everyday retail stores, like Zara, H&M and Topshop.

“Pippa is one of our customers," de Montille tells People . "She has bought many products from us in the past year."
“We had no news after the birth," she says. "We didn’t know if (the duchess) was wearing it or not. Then we came across a blog recently showing a picture of her back in October, shopping in Zara, and she was wearing our necklace!” Can you imagine?! Amazing.
The handmade necklace retails for $150, and since Kate, 32, was spotted wearing it, the company's site has been getting a record number of visits (and their traffic's sure to rise with all the reports today!): 25,000 visits and loads of orders.
“I couldn’t think of a better ambassador," de Montille adds. "She is very chic." Very chic, indeed, and only the future Queen!
