04Mia Tindall (his first playdate!)

The Queen's oldest granddaughter, Zara Phillips, is George's only royal godparent. Her six-month-old daughter, Mia Tindall, enjoys a sweet friendship with the prince. After their first big playdate, Mia's dad, Mike Tindall, reported, "He and Mia seemed to get on as much as two babies can at their age."Fun fact: Tower Bridge and various landmarks in London and around the world were lit up in blue when the future king was born—including the CN Tower, Parliament Hill and Niagara Falls.

05Bilbys

One of Prince George's favourite parts of the royal tour in Australia and New Zealand was the Taronga Zoo, where he apparently went bonkers for the bilby! Indeed, the whole exhibit was named in his honour: The Prince George Bilby Exhibit. The lucky little guy got a bilby stuffy, and, when he threw it on the ground, Prince William laughed, "He does love it, honestly." Prince George didn't actually get to touch the bilby—because William and Kate were worried George would hurt the animal!—but a witness said he was "very interested and grabbing at the glass."Fun fact: When George was born, William told crowds outside the hospital, "He's a big boy, I can tell you. He's quite heavy!" and "He's got a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure."
