Royal baby update: Final preparations begin
The Duchess of Cambridge is due any day now! Security is out in full force, and final preparations have begun. Exciting!
No BIG royal baby news yet! But I have updates for you.
Media from around the world continue to set up camp at St. Mary's Hospital in London, England, as final preparations around the hospital begin.

Earlier today, the Metropolitan Police sent in a "Specialist Search Team" to inspect the area around the Lindo Wing (where the the Duchess is set to give birth to the future monarch really ANY DAY NOW). The search team has been checking garbage cans in the area, plants, poles, etc. Apparently, this is all standard procedure when a royal baby's on the way.
There's also a security guard on the steps of the main entrance to the Lindo wing, where Kate and William will pose for photos with the new baby, and around 10 more scattered throughout the area (this number is said to increase).
Because the public loves the royal couple so much, this whole event is just through-the-roof exciting. People are gathering in front of the hospital, taking pictures and having a fun. It's a full-on celebration!
