Meet the royal baby!
Kate Middleton and Prince William, more properly called the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, introduced the royal baby — Prince (Name TBD) of Cambridge — to the hordes of reporters, photographers and well-wishers in front of St. Mary's hospital.
Even though it's been just over a day since she gave birth, Kate looked stunning in a pretty Jenny Packham polka-dot dress, which was totally reminiscent of the green polka-dot dress Princess Diana wore when she introduced Prince William to the world.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son will travel home to Kensington Palace," the Palace stated.
"Their Royal Highnesses would like to reiterate their thanks to the hospital for the care and treatment they have all received."
Kate and William have not announced the royal baby's name yet. They say they haven't decided yet. They did, however, open up about feeling emotional. "Very emotional," Kate said. "Any parent knows what this feeling feels like."
"When the little boy grows up, we'll remind him of his tardiness," Prince William joked, referring to the baby being overdue. "He's got her looks, thankfully."
After the short conference, William snapped the carseat in the car and wiped his head, as if to say, "Phew!" Kate sat in the back with the baby, and he drove home. They are so refreshingly normal. LOVE!
