Bruce and Kris Jenner: Split

For those of you who follow the Kardashians, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... Bruce, 63, and Kris Jenner, 57, have separated after 22 year of marriage.

They gave a joint statement announcing their separation yesterday (Tuesday, October 8).

"We are living separately," their statement to E! News reads, "and we are much happier this way."

"But we will always have much love and respect for each other," they add. "Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians, none of this should come as a surprise. Bruce moved into his Malibu "man pad" last summer, and the time apart has reportedly been glorious for them. Now, they're just making the separation official.

Kris was even photographed recently sans wedding ring....

This makes me sad, since I've enjoyed them (and their bickering, sighhh) so much on the show. And this has to be a blow for the whole Kardashian family, since Bruce has been a beloved father figure since their dad, attorney Robert Kardashian, passed away in 2003.
