I think we all think of Kate as the model of grace under pressure. The whirlwind surrounding the royal birth was stressful for me! I can’t imagine what it was like to be the Duke and Duchess, but I love how they are handling all of it with sweet baby George at top of mind.
— Nadine Silverthorne, Online Managing Editor, Today's Parent
With incredible pressure surrounding raising an heir, she is taking it with stride, and both she and her husband are attempting to give Prince George time to be a child, not just a prince.

Kate is a great mom and role model because she is standing firm in her beliefs. She isn't letting tradition, family or even the fact that she is married to the future King of England influence her maternal decision-making.

Princess Kate [is] for showing the world we have tummies after the baby comes out.
— Tracy Saloojee via Facebook
Kate Middleton for keeping it real (showing off that new mama postpartum bump) even though she's royalty.
— Jen Hughes via Facebook
Amazing that she came out of the hospital with a smiling face so soon after giving birth. She showed off her postpartum bump as well. She is amazing.
— Candice Webb via Facebook
Unlike lots of other celeb parents, Kate and William haven't hired an army of nannies! They rely on Kate's mother primarily, and have hired William's childhood nanny to help part time. They are very vocal about being hands-on parents. Love that.
— Haley Overland, Writer/Editor, Today's Parent
Princess Kate for sure. She's got a lot on her shoulders, and she's still graceful and well put-together. It's hard enough dealing with your mother-in-law as a new mom. But, when your (grand)mother-in-law is the queen... well I'm sure that has its own challenges.
— Lindsey Eckert via Facebook
She's gorgeous and put-together, but that's kind of her job. She does, however, seem super down-to-earth and real, so it's easy for moms to relate to her (while envying the wardrobe and those luscious locks).
— Kate Stewart, Assistant Editor, Today's Parent
While most of her wardrobe is unattainable for us ordinary types, Kate does recycle her clothes. A celebrity wearing the same clothing item more than once? Inconceivable! Heh. She's very relatable as a person and as a mom. She even had extreme morning sickness and had to face the world. That deserves a medal!

Kate Middleton should be Mother of the Year... Future King! Wonder what Prince George is like.... Kate makes it look easy ;)
— Tiffany W. Lepack via Twitter
P!nk, hands down. She is so authentic and hard working.
— Julie M. Green via Twitter
P!nk [should] for being the bad-ass breastfeeder and showing that nursing past infancy is normal!
— Daniella Iannone via Facebook
Every year Jennifer Garner keeps showing us that she’s just one of us. Between driving her girls to dance classes and running around town in sneakers and baggy sweaters, you see that her family is her priority. She’s even got her husband’s back, no matter what — even when he forgets to thank some pretty key players in his award-winning movie at the Oscars.
— Cassandre Norreen, Assistant Managing Editor, Today's Parent
Jennifer Garner because she puts her family first.
— Catherine Dishman via Facebook
Absolutely love Jennifer Garner! Such a great mom!

Kate Winslet for being an amazing role model for her daughter by saying things like this: "As a child I never heard one woman say to me 'I love my body.' Not my mother, my elder sister, my best friend. No one woman has ever said 'I am so proud of my body.' So I make sure to say it to Mia because a positive physical outlook has to start at an early age."
— Marci Warhaft Nadler via Facebook
Kate Winslet manages to get through two divorces, three marriages, has her kids all the time (they live with her 24/7) and has a career and a new baby! The icing on the cake: They are all happy, and they go through rough patches just like us "ordinary" people. Kudos to her for staying grounded — NOT sugar coating her life to sound glamorous! Love it!

Hilary Duff for being a hands-on mom, shed her celebrity persona.
— Gladys Hrabi via Facebook
Celebrities are real moms!!!! They just obviously have different challenges/privileges than other mothers. I vote Hilary Duff on that note. — Victoria Clarke via Facebook
Hilary Duff was one of my favourite celebrity-mom interviews. She was so warm and friendly, and I loved what she said about how just being a loving presence is enough sometimes. Plus, our readers LOVE her (Lizzie McGuire!)
