Stuff your little turkey full of this delicious stuffing purée.
1 cup no-salt added chicken broth, divided
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup mashed boiled potatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped celery
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
pinch poultry seasoning
1/4 cup very finely ground rolled oats
Combine 1/2 cup broth, water, potato, celery, onion and poultry seasoning in a small saucepan set over medium. Gently boil until vegetables are very tender, about 10 min. Whisk in oats and remaining 1/2 cup broth. Let stand, covered, for 5 min.
Scrape into a blender. Purée until smooth, adding more water, 1 tbsp at a time, until desired consistency.

Whirl oats in a clean and dry coffee grinder until finely ground. One cup whole oats will yield an equal amount finely ground. Refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 1 week.
