Review

Star Wars fans won’t be able to get enough of this play set that transforms from the movie franchise's famous spaceship into a multi-level command centre. The Star Wars Galactic Heroes 2-in-1 Millennium Falcon does a great job helping kids enhance their finger dexterity (there are lots of buttons to press and small parts to open and close) while creating their own Star Wars stories with the included Chewbacca and R2D2 figures. (Han Solo is sold separately.) When kids are not flying a mission for the Rebellion or making the Kessel run (in less than 12 parsecs, of course), they can place the ship on a table or floor, open it up and get down to defending the galaxy. The ship comes complete with sound effects, light-up screens, Star Wars dialogue, re-positionable cockpit seat and radar dish, projectile launching cannon, and a secret escape route. It’s simple to put together as it comes mostly assembled, though you might have to show younger kids how to transform it into the base centre. And be prepared: Once the word gets out that the Millennium Falcon is at your home, kids in the neighbourhood will be clamouring for a play session.

If your kids are Star Wars fans, they will like this, especially if they like to role play! The valuable thing about this toy is that is allows for some good pretend play and re-enacting Star Wars scenes.” —Belinda, mom of two
