How to make slip-on shoes

Forget laces, these DIY slip-on shoes are easy to make and will help your little one get their shoes on and off in no time.

1. Strip the laces from a pair of shoes.

2. Grab 12 to 18 inches of fabric elastic (available at most craft and sewing supply stores), pinch one end of the elastic and wrap a piece of tape around it to form a point.

3. Thread the elastic, tape-end first, through all grommets as you would when lacing a shoe. Remove the tape and knot the ends.
