How to do triangle negative-space nails

Rita Remark, lead artist for Essie Canada, tells us how to create this simple look.

1. Cut masking or painters’ tape into various sizes of triangles to fit nails. Place triangles at the base of nails, smoothing out air bubbles.

2. Apply 2 coats of polish.

3. Once polish is almost completely dry, use tweezers to peel off tape, starting at bottom of each triangle.

4. Finish with topcoat.
