Amy's Kitchen frozen meals recalled due to listeria (Updated!)

Amy's Kitchen is recalling over 70,000 products in Canada and the US after they may have been contaminated with listeria.

Amy's Kitchen is recalling over 73,000 frozen meals sold in Canada and the United States. The recall is a precautionary measure after Amy's learned the spinach used in their meals may have been contaminated with listeria.

Of the 19 products being recalled, three were sold in Canada.

1. Vegetable Lasagna with a best before date of January 2017 2. Gluten-free dairy free vegetable lasagna with a best before date of February 2017 3. Gluten-free tofu scramble breakfast wrap with a best before date of February 2017

So far, there have been no reported illnesses connected to the products. Listeria can cause severe headaches, nausea, diarrhea, fever and stiffness. But in pregnant women, it can cause miscarriage and stillborn births.

If you have this product: If you bought one of the recalled products, you should throw it out or return it to the grocery store for a full refund or exchange. If you have questions, you can call Amy's directly at (707) 781-7535.
