Music, food and hockey fan fun east of downtown Toronto September 16-25, 2016.
The World Cup of Hockey has kicked off in Toronto but even if you don’t have tickets to a game, there’s still hockey-themed fun to be had. A large fan village has been set up in and around Toronto’s Distillery District until September 25. Families can snap a pic with the Stanley Cup, watch ethnic music and dancing inspired by countries competing on the ice, climb a Zamboni or take some shots on goal. While there are kid-friendly activities throughout the fan village, some of the activities in the east end are adults-only. Stick to the Kids Zone in the Distillery District for a full slate of family-friendly programming.
The Fan Village is free, with the exception of the closing concert featuring Lenny Kravitz.
