Netflix and DreamWorks Animation have joined forces to bring audiences Turbo FAST, a new family-friendly TV series.
The snail that beat the odds of Mother Nature is back for new action-packed adventures. Turbo won the Indy 500, and now he and his fast-action stunt team are telling the world to “snail up!” for the release of DreamWorks Animation’s new Turbo FAST, a new TV series streaming exclusively from Netflix and is set to air December 24, 2013.

As the first-ever Netflix original series for kids, Turbo FAST promises new adventures, cool new racetracks, and crazy challenges. The 2D animation features the same beloved characters — Turbo, Whiplash, Burn, Smoove Move, White Shadow, Skidmark and Chet — but focuses more on each of their personalities.
Although the voice acting for Turbo (previously Ryan Reynolds) has been replaced by Reid Scott, fan-favourite Ken Jeong makes a comeback as manicurist-turned-home-shopping icon, Kim Ly.
Netflix will air the first five episodes of the show over the holidays. Parents: this means your kids won’t be able to binge-watch a whole season. However, DreamWorks will be releasing all-new episodes that will premiere throughout 2014.
Expect the same feel-good morals as the feature film, but with more adventures that your kids will love.
