9 kids’ movies and shows that are new on Netflix Canada in February 2020

Netflix Canada has announced which new TV shows and movies it will be adding to its lineup next month, and of course that means, more options for kids! There’s a handful of titles to look forward to in February, including the new Shaun the Sheep movie and an interactive Captain Underpants choose-your-own-adventure special! Check out the full lineup with specific release dates below.

But first, an important note: The age recommendations offered below are approximate. Every kid is different, and you’re the best judge of what’s appropriate and what your kid can handle.

Captain Underpants Epic Choice-o-Rama

Best for: 6+ In this interactive special, Harold and George need your decision-making skills to stop Krupp from blowing their beloved treehouse to smithereens. Available February 9

Dragons: Rescue Riders, Season 2

Best for: 4+ The Rescue Riders continue their mission to keep the residents of Huttsgalor safe but face a new nemesis in Magnus's crafty nephew, Axel. Available February 7

A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

Best for: 4+ When an alien named LU-LA crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, her magical powers, irrepressible mischief and galactic sized burps soon have Shaun the Sheep and his flock enchanted.  But when Shaun takes his new extraterrestrial friend on the road to find her lost spaceship, little does he know that a sinister alien-hunting agency is on their trail. The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia

Best for: 9+ A 15 year old teen genius moves across the country to work as a robotics engineer and live with her uncle, a high school football coach. Available February 17

Glitch Techs

Best for: 8+ Glitch Techs is an action-comedy set against a world of video game fantasies come to life. It features two teenage gamers who have the best after-school job ever—capturing escaped video game “glitches”! Available February 21

Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution

Best for: 6+ After a scientific experiment leads to the creation of Mewtwo, he sets out to destroy the world. Ash and his friends then decide to thwart Mewtwo's evil plans. Available February 27

Team Kaylie, Part 3

Best for: 9+ Adventure is calling! Join Kaylie, Ray Ray, Amber, Valeria, Chewy, Jackie and more as they navigate friendship, flirtation and the great outdoors. Available February 3

Dragon Quest Your Story

Best for: 8+ Luca follows in his father's footsteps to rescue his mother from evil Ladja. Finding the heavenly hero who wields the Zenithian sword is his only hope. Available February 13

The Angry Birds Movie 2

Best for: 6+ The flightless birds and scheming green pigs take their feud to the next level. Available February 27

LAST CALL!

Netflix is only taking a few kids’ titles off next month. Peter Rabbit is leaving on the 15th, Charlotte's Web is leaving on the 19th, My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks is leaving on the 28th and both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Free Willy are leaving on the 29th. Luckily, there is still plenty of time left to give these titles a watch as a family.
