Netflix Canada has announced which new TV shows and movies it will be adding to its lineup in December 2019, and of course that means, more options for kids! There's a handful of titles to look forward to next month, including kids’ holiday specials and The Secret Life of Pets 2! Check out the full lineup with specific release dates below.

But first, an important note: The age recommendations offered below are approximate. Every kid is different, and you’re the best judge of what’s appropriate and what your kid can handle.

The Secret Life of Pets 2

Best for: 6+ Continuing the story of Max and his pet friends, following their secret lives after their owners leave them for work or school each day. Available December 27

Best for: 9+ Ready for more glitz, glam and grit? Kaylie and the Porcupines sharpen their skills for a new slate of action-packed shenanigans. Available December 2

LAST CALL!

Netflix is only taking a few kids’ titles off next month. Thor: Ragnarok is leaving on December 4, season 1 of Beyblade: Metal Fusion is leaving on December 14, and George of the Jungle 2 is leaving on December 19. Luckily, there is still plenty of time left to give these a watch as a family.
