Hook Best for: Ages 9+ When Captain Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy. Available August 2.
Pan Best for: Ages 8+ As a kind of prequel to the Peter Pan story, this fantasy relates how Peter first met and initially befriended Captain Hook and fought alongside him. Available August 14.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (season 7) Best for: Ages 5+ Journey to the enchanted land of Equestria, where unicorn Twilight Sparkle and her pals have adventures and learn valuable lessons about friendship. Available August 8.
Dinotrux (season 5) Best for: Ages 6+ Half dinosaur, half construction truck, full-on fun! Watch giant Ty Rux, his little buddy Revvit and the crew come fact-to-face with evil D-Structs. Available August 18.
School of Rock Best for: Ages 11+ Musician Dewey Finn gets a job as a fourth-grade substitute teacher, where he secretly begins teaching his students the finer points of rock ‘n’ roll. Available August 24.
Voltron: Legendary Defender Best for: Ages 8+ Five unlikely heroes and their flying robot lions unite to form the mega-powerful Voltron and defend the universe from evil. Available August 4.
The Truman Show Best for: Ages 10+ Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) is the star of “The Truman Show,” a 24-hour-a-day TV phenomenon that broadcasts every aspect of his life—without his knowledge. Available August 3.
Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh (season 3) Best for: Ages 6+ A misfit alien named Oh moves in with Tip and her family, in a series that picks up the dynamic duo’s adventures where the hit film left off. Available August 11.
Glitter Force Doki Doki Best for: Ages 7+ A new squad of Glitter Force warriors unite to defend Earth and the magical kingdom of Splendorious from the evil King Mercenare and his minions. Available August 18.
Dragons: Race to the Edge Best for: Ages 7+ From the creator of “How to Train Your Dragon” comes a series that takes Hiccup and Toothless to the edge of adventure! Available August 25.
Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack Best for: Ages 13+ When Destiny, captain of three-time national champions "The Rebels," is challenged to a global cheer showdown by an edgy new team called "The Truth," the Cheer Goddess organizes a virtual battle for squads from all around the world. Available August 29.
LAST CALL! In the new, out with the old. The following movies and series will be removed from Netflix Canada throughout the month of August: Fantastic Four, Ultimate Spider-Man and Sleeping Beauty.
