What's new on Disney+ for kids and families in March 2020

New content is coming to Disney+! The streaming service from Disney has announced which new TV shows and movies will be added to its lineup next month, and of course that means, more options for the whole family! There’s a handful of titles to look forward to in March, including the new Stargirl movie, which is based on the popular young adult novel, and new seasons of Vampirina Ghoul Girls Rock! and Big Hero 6 The Series! Check out the full lineup with specific release dates below.

But first, an important note: The age recommendations offered below are approximate. Every kid is different, and you’re the best judge of what’s appropriate and what your kid can handle.

Diary of a Future President

Best for: 7+ A young Cuban-American girl embarks on a journey to become the future president of the United States. New episodes every Friday until March 20

Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Final Season

Best for: 7+ Jedi Knights lead the Grand Army of the Republic against the droid army of the Separatists. New episodes every Friday in March

Marvel's Hero Project

Best for: 9+ This series shares the remarkable, positive change several young heroes are making in their own communities across the country. These inspiring kids have dedicated their lives to selfless acts of bravery and kindness, and now, Marvel celebrates them as the true Super Heroes they are by welcoming them into Marvel's Hero Project. New episodes every Friday until March 20

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings

Best for: 10+ Viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at the magical weddings and one-of-a-kind engagements that take place at Disney Destinations around the globe. New episodes every Friday in March

Be Our Chef

Best for: 6+ Families who love to cook together compete to make themed dishes inspired by your favourite Disney characters. Series airing Fridays starting March 27

Shop Class

Best for: 6+ Youthful ingenuity is on display in this new competition series that features teams of inventive students tasked with designing, building, and testing new contraptions to vie for the title of Shop Class Champs. New episodes every Friday in March

Disney Family Sundays

Best for: 3+ Crafter extraordinaire, Amber Kemp-Gerstel, shares her passion for crafting with young families in a series of Disney-inspired DIY projects. New episodes every Friday in March

Black Panther

Best for: 11+ T'Challa, heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must step forward to lead his people into a new future and must confront a challenger from his country's past. Available March 4

One Day at Disney

Best for: 7+ An inside look at some of the people working across Disney to make the magic happen. New episodes every Friday in March

Three on the Run

Best for: 8+ Two young brothers form an unlikely team of dogs so that they can compete in a prestigious local sled team race. Available March 6

Wicked Tuna, Seasons 3-8

Best for: 13+ Teams of tuna fisherman battle the elements, and each other, to catch the most Giant Bluefin Tuna. Available March 13

Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks, Seasons 1-6

Best for: 13+ Gloucester's fishermen have to learn new fishing techniques to beat their competitors, the Outer Banks' top fishermen, in the race to catch the elusive bluefin tuna in the waters of North Carolina. Available March 13

Zorro - Second Series, Season 1

Best for: TBD Available March 13

Stargirl

Best for: 9+ A boy becomes intrigued by a mysterious and quirky student named Stargirl and spends his time trying to know more about her. Available March 13

Big Hero 6 The Series, Season 2

Best for: 6+ As the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro now faces daunting academic challenges and the social trials of being the little man on campus. Off campus, the stakes are raised for the high-tech heroes as they must protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains. Available March 17

I Didn’t Do It, Seasons 1-2

Playtime with Puppy Dog Pals: Puppy Playcare, Season 2

Vampirina Ghoul Girls Rock!, Season 2

Best for: 5+ Rock out to music from Vee's band the Ghoul Girls. Available March 20

A Wrinkle in Time

Best for: 9+ After the disappearance of her scientist father, three peculiar beings send Meg, her brother, and her friend to space in order to find him. Available March 25
