Netflix and Scholastic Media are bringing Clifford the Big Red Dog to TV this February.
Everyone’s favourite big red dog is returning to the small screen.
Scholastic Media recently announced that it's teamed up with Netflix to bring Clifford the Big Red Dog® back to television.
Starting this Valentine’s Day—Clifford’s birthday!—children and families can stream the popular children’s show exclusively on Netflix, and catch all of the lovable canine's adventures.
Based on the books by Norman Bridwell, Clifford has enjoyed longtime popularity among children and their families. Scholastic first published Clifford the Big Red Dog in 1963, and the series went on to see 127 million books in print. The TV series also became a top-rated program and won multiple Emmy awards, making Clifford one of the most well-known and beloved dogs around.

Clifford joins a growing list of children’s programming on Netflix. In December, DreamWorks Animation brought TurboFast to Netflix, a show following Turbo and his stunt team’s fast-action adventures.
With Clifford’s previous popularity, there’s no doubt Netflix has another family-friendly hit on its hands.
