Serena Williams and her fiancé welcome baby girl with the sweetest video

Welcome to the world, baby Alexis!

Serena Williams and her Reddit co-founder fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, welcomed daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. on September 1st, and we love that she's Alexis Jr.! I mean, would we expect anything less from her bada**, feminist mom? Could this be the start of a new baby name trend in Hollywood? (We hope so!)

It's been almost two weeks since her birth, and the internet is swooning over baby Alexis. Why? Because we've all finally been introduced to her (via a YouTube video on Alexis' channel) with photos, video footage, and name confirmation. Serena may have hinted at the release of their video yesterday with an Instagram post of her and Alexis, captioned, "... but are you ready?"

Turns out we weren't, because it's just TOO cute. It documents Serena's entire pregnancy journey, including her first ultrasound, the couple prepping the nursery, Snapchat videos, and then finally, the day Alexis was born. It's basically a mini documentary, titled "Hello, world," created just for the three of them, and we absolutely love it.

Serena also posted an Instagram photo (above) for Alexis' video debut, captioned, "Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. You have to check out link in bio for her amazing journey. Also check out my IG stories." Since Serena openly shared photos of her pregnancy  after her accidental pregnancy announcement on Snapchat, we were all wondering why we hadn't heard any news of the birth after it was confirmed that Serena went into labour. Turns out that there were complications and that she and Alexis were kept in the hospital for almost a week. In the video, Serena says, "So we’re leaving the hospital after six, seven days...It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got—we got a baby girl!”

It seems like baby Alexis is already taking after her tennis pro mom and genius dad—according to the video, she already holds one Gram Slam title. YES, GIRL!

Alexis shared the video via Twitter, with a sweet message, "Welcome, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., we're so happy to meet you. We made you a video of our adventure together so far. Our little girl is already mama's perfect sidekick." Check it out below!
