The three snaps taken by Kate Middleton show off the littlest Cambridge's toothy smile and sweet demeanour as he poses at the family's country home.

Prince Louis' first teeth were on full display in three adorable new photos shared by Prince William and Kate on Monday to mark his first birthday on April 23. The delicious little royal was all smiles as he played in the moss at the family's country home, getting a little messy in the process!
All three pictures were taken by his proud mom, the Duchess of Cambridge, who often snaps sweet photos of her little ones to mark special occasions (remember Princess Charlotte kissing her baby brother last year? Cutest!).
The shoot took place during the family's extended Easter holidays earlier this month, where Louis posed in the wild wearing a burgundy sweater, white Peter Pan-collared shirt with blue piping and navy shorts with knee-high socks. Like Prince George, the one-year-old isn't likely to be seen in pants at public appearances until around age eight.
The shorts are hand-me-downs from his five-year-old big brother and this is the second time Louis has been photographed wearing them—proving once again that even royal moms knows how silly it is to spend too much money on kids clothes. George looked adorable in the Amaia design in 2014 for his official Christmas portrait and his newest sibling wore them on the family's cozy 2018 Christmas card.
We especially love the more candid photo of the beaming toddler playing in the woods, with his pudgy hand stretched out to the camera and his sweater covered in grass. This was surely shot during a much-needed break from all that posing and we can't. handle.
The third is a sweet close-up that shows off the littlest Cambridge's side-parted blond hair as he gazes at the camera wearing a blue Trotters sweater with a spotted puppy on it. He's clearly got the squishable cheeks that both his siblings had in their first birthday photos and seems to be a mix of the two, with lots of fans saying he's the spitting image of his mom when she was young.
According to a source who spoke to People, “He really is the most cheerful, smiley little boy – he’s always so happy and content.” Last we heard from Kate during an event earlier this year, Louis is always trying to pull himself up and "bombing around" with his walkers, just like his sister Princess Charlotte at the same age.
Between the two posts, Prince Louis's cuteness got more than 23,000 comments from adoring fans—two of which were his doting aunt and uncle, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The soon-to-be first-time parents posted a sweet note to their nephew, saying "Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us," alongside cake and balloon emojis. They signed off with an "xo."
