If you have a toddler or know a toddler, then you will know exactly what Chrissy Teigen is talking about—and how hilarious it is!

We say this all the time, but it bears repeating: WE LOVE CHRISSY TEIGEN.
She's one of our favourite celeb moms (up there with Pink and Kristen Bell), and when she took to Twitter earlier this week to talk about her favourite toddler-ism, you know we let out a good chuckle while nodding our heads in total agreement.
So what is her favourite thing about toddlers, you ask? It's hiding-while-pooping.
Yep, there comes a point when toddlers instinctively know that they need some uninterrupted "me time" while dropping a load into their diaper. So when they need to go, they hide.
hiding-while-pooping is my favorite thing about toddlers. I didn't know it was a thing before kids. she creates a small, gated community or fort and you may not look at or speak to her for 10-15 mins. she will call for you, but it is a trick. you may not look.

Chrissy followed this tweet with an adorable clip of her daughter Luna doing just that—hiding under a kitchen bar stool while unloading some timber into her nappy. You can tell that's exactly what's happening because when Chrissy says hello to her little girl, Luna looks up at her with adorable wide eyes and lets out a growly "NO" that's reminiscent of a wounded animal on the defence. Check out the clip below:

A lot of toddlers do this when they reach a certain age, which was clear by the flood of people tweeting back at Chrissy with their funny stories of hiding-while-pooping-toddlers. But while this phenomenon is super cute, there's no reason to let it go on for too long because it shows that your kid can tell when they need to go and may be ready to start potty training. YAY!
Now that they know they need some privacy while going number two, maybe they'll stop barging in on you when you're sitting on the can. We can only hope.
