Attention, Muppets fans! Scientists have found the real Kermit the Frog.
Breaking news! Scientists in Costa Rica have discovered that Kermit the Frog is real.
Photo: Costa Rican Amphibian Research CenterThis new species of frog is Kelly Green in colour and has Kermit's big, bulging eyes. Scientists couldn't confirm if the frog can sing—it's just not Kermit if he can't sing "Rainbow Connection."
This type of frog is called a Diane's bare-hearted glassfrog. Which is a bit of a mouthful, we will just call this cutie, Kermit.
Now here's the most pressing concern. If Kermit is real, then we need to find the real life Miss Piggy too.
