Kelly Ripa's husband accidentally stole Scarlett Johansson's breast pump

Mark Consuelos was just trying to help Scarlett Johansson out—and then he accidentally took her most valued possession.

What's the best accessory on Oscar night? A breast pump, of course!

Scarlett Johansson's daughter Rose was just five months old when the actress had to present at the 2015 Oscars. Since Scarlett was breastfeeding, she needed more than just a clutch to carry her essentials.

"I had to bring my breast pump, because I was nursing and every ounce is like liquid gold," Scarlett told Marie Claire in a new interview.

Kelly Ripa's husband—and dad of three kids—Mark Consuelos helpfully offered to hold Scarlett's bag filled with all her pumping supplies. What a gentleman! Unfortunately he then sort of stole her breast milk.

"Somehow, Mark got ahold of my breast pump—in a bag with all the milk, ice packs in there, and shit. He grabbed it out of my hand," Scarlett explains. "He was just trying to help...but our cars got separated. Apparently, Kelly looked over, and she was like, 'Wait a minute—is that Scarlett's breast pump? We've got to get it back!' because she knew how panicked I would be. We finally ended up at the same party three hours later, and Mark was like, 'I'm so sorry.'"

Three hours later?! Scarlett's poor boobs. But at least she got her liquid gold back.

And Scarlett wasn't done talking about breastfeeding. The writer for Marie Claire had to pump in the hotel bathroom before the interview so the two quickly became bosom buddies.

"How's your boobs," Scarlett asked the writer after noticing she was shifting her maternity bra around. "Are they square? That was always my favourite."

Oh, the joys of breastfeeding and how it changes your boobs...forever! I wonder if Scarlett has seen this hilarious video where a mom compares her boobs to fruit.

This isn't the first time Scarlett has opened up about breastfeeding. Shortly after Rose was born, Scarlett told Barbara Walters, "I'm nursing and I love it."

Check out what other moms have said about breastfeeding here. My favourite is Alyssa Milano breastfeeding in a Wonder Woman costume.
