Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck: Co-parenting plans

Many of us were devastated to learn Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were getting a divorce, back in June. At the time, they shared their plans to live amicably together in their Los Angeles abode.

We've since learned they're doing some interesting renovations on this home. Various sources say these renos will enable Jen and Ben to live in the same home, but separately—so, some kind of bridge or something?

The renos are apparently so extreme that the couple and their three kids—Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3—are renting a home together in the neighbourhood. And it's not just any home, of course: It's Brooke Shields' five-bedroom house, which she and her hubby are in the midst of trying to sell.

"They are going through extreme renovations, and it's almost unlivable there now," says a source People. "[Shields' home] is convenient."

The mag's source says the family's currently in Atlanta (Ben and all, that is) while Jen films her latest flick, Miracles from Heaven. And in the spirit of "consciously uncoupling," Jen and Ben both took the kids on a recent vacation to the Bahamas. Sweet!
