Aside from soothing baby and helping them fall asleep, a growing body of research shows that singing has benefits for parents, too. A study published in the journal Public Health found that singing daily was associated with fewer postnatal depression symptoms, as well as increased well-being, self-esteem and perceived mother-infant bond.
