Victoria Beckham: Helicopter parent?
Now this is what I call a helicopter parent!
Victoria Beckham, 39, actually took a helicopter to get to her son Brooklyn's parent-teacher night at school.
The British fashion designer had been in the UK for a photoshoot for Vogue Magazine, Australia, but she obviously wouldn't miss the chance to talk to Brooklyn's teachers for anything.
"The shoot almost didn't happen, but in the end her people decided she could make the trip by chopper directly from the shoot if need be," Vogue editor Edwina McCann told news.com.au.
Despite the, ermm, helicopter, Victoria insists her kids lead a normal life, as she says in the Vogue interview.
Choosing between a Hollywood event and staying in with hubby David Beckham, 38, and their kids — Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 8, and Harper Seven, 2 — for example, is a no-brainer. "Honestly, once the children are in bed I'd rather work or shove on a face pack and pluck my eyebrows," she tells the mag. "‘By the time Brooklyn's finally gone to bed, it's all I'm fit for. Really, we're much more normal than people think."
