After 10 years of marriage, Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel are separating.
I thought I was looking at just another red-carpet photo of the star couple. But no, I was looking at a red-carpet photo with an announcement that the broadway/movie/TV stars, who've been married for over 10 years and costarred in my favourite musical, Rent, have separated. Wahhh! (Other publications will I'm sure be cheering that handsome Taye Diggs is "back on the market"..., but I am sad.)

Yes, Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have separated. People confirmed the news...
"Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time," the couple's rep states. "Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time."
Idina, who won a Tony for Wicked, and Taye, both 42, have a four-year-old son, Walker. They met in the 90s on the set of the Broadway musical Rent and got married in 2003.
