See first photo of Alicia Silverstone's Blu Bear!

Us Magazine got dibs on the first photo of Alicia Silverstone's new baby Bear Blu Jarecki. Bear got a sweet spot on the cover of this week's issue, in his beautiful mama's arms of course. Huge fan of Alicia Silverstone -- star of Clueless and author of one of my fave diet books The Kind Diet -- over here!

Inside the issue Alicia (34) talks about life with her wee cub. She and rocker hubby Christopher Jarecki welcomed 7-pound-15-ounce Bear just last month. Apparently, the bizarre name was Christopher's mom's idea -- alluding to the "crazy amounts of hair [Bear had] when he came out." Ahhh, now I get it. (But still...!)

Lucky Alicia also tells the mag that the baby's "really calm," that she hibernated at home with him for 6 weeks because she "wanted to soak in every moment of his scrumptiousness" and that she and her boys "all take baths together sometimes."

I love Alicia Silverstone, and I suppose a celebrity baby can get away with the name "Bear." But it's totally over the top. Remember the olden days when "Apple" was considered bizarre.........
