The Palace has set up a Google+ card for the world to sign. Clarence House (the royal home, in London) tweeted the link, as follows: "Want to send your congratulations to Their Royal Highnesses? You can sign the Google+ card here: http://bit.ly/1bXt8xW."

As for gifts, if you'd like to honour the birth of the royal baby, Kate and William are asking for donations to children's charities.
