Separated Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom: K-i-s-s-i-n-g?

Hmmm... The world is confused by a seeming PDA moment between newly separated parents, Miranda Kerr, 30, and Orlando Bloom, 36.

Miranda and Orlando just announced their amicable separation last week, and — gasp! — they've been snapped walking arm-in-arm and giving each other a kiss in the street (see the big "kiss" photos below).

(In case you haven't noticed, "gasp" is the word/theme of the day. Every time I say it, you must GASP! OK?)

Don't get me wrong. I see nothing scandalous or worth gossiping about here. I just see two celebrity pals co-parenting their son in a loving way. It's a rare vision, to be sure. And isn't it great?

The famously beautiful couple were taking their adorable son, Flynn, 2.5, for a walk in New York City today (October 28) when they gave photographers the show. Now the world is wondering... Was the kiss for us? Are they getting back together? Or, is this simply what their rep said in their separation statement the other day — that they, indeed, do "love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family." How nice for their little boy!

Time will tell, I suppose, if there's anything to this. And of course, I'll keep you posted. GASP!
