Michael Bublé: Baby due at any moment

Michael Bublé, 37, is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first child — a boy — any moment now!

"It's a boy, and he's due at any moment, literally any moment," the Canadian singer told the Associated Press last Wednesday, Aug. 7. "We're close. We had a false alarm a couple days ago, and she had about seven hours of labor. So we know that it could happen at any time."

Now that it's so close, how is he preparing for the big day? "My sisters will tell you I've done nothing," he laughs. "What can you do to be ready for the biggest change of your life? I've just tried to be there for her, and I've been her support in every way. But I have no clue what I'm doing."

"I think it's important for my wife [Luisana Lopilato] to know that she's the priority," he says. "Family's No. 1, and then everything else comes second. I feel like if I'm honest with myself and I'm true to that, then everything else will just work itself out."

Michael also told ET Canada yesterday (Monday) he's staying as close to Luisana as possible. "I'm about 15 - 20 minutes away from home — just in case anything happens, I'm there," he said.

After cancelling an appearance on the Today Show so he could stay here in Canada to be with Luisana, he shared this video, apologizing to the Today Show and promising he and his new little one would see them on the road soon.

"I've got her whole family here, so there's a good support system." This is especially important, of course, because the Argentinian actress isn't in her own country.
