Kim Kardashian: PREGNANT!

Wow! Doth mine eyes deceive me? It's quite possible that they do because I've been at sea for over a week and am still swaying as I write this while sitting on a relatively sturdy dining-room chair. Anyway...

KIM KARDASHIAN AND KANYE WEST ARE EXPECTING THEIR FIRST CHILD. And yes, this deserves large caps. Maybe it's because I haven't seen celebrity gossip in a week, but — am I right? — this is huge (celeb family) news!

OK, so here's the scoop. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, 32, is preggers.

How'd they announce it? So cool: Kanye, 35, did the deed at his Revel in Atlantic City concert yesterday, December 30. The Grammy award-winning rapper apparently said, "Stop the music for a second. Stop the music. Can we make noise for my baby mama right quick?" (Here's a clip of it.) "Baby mama" Kim was sitting in the audience.

Kanye went on, according to the Associated Press, to call the pregnancy the "most amazing thing."

Kim and Kanye have been an item since April — which is all great (I do love them together), except that Kim is still in the throes of an awful divorce from her ex-husband, Kris Humphries.

Now, this big news isn't a surprise to everyone. Kim and Kanye were spotted leaving the OB-GYN's office last week, and sources were saying she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, the condition we're all now familiar with, thanks to Duchess Kate — but that rumour was later debunked (she apparently just had the flu).

Of course, the family is all over Twitter, excited to finally share this long-kept secret:

Kim's "momager," Kris Jenner, got all Bieber on us, tweeting: “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!”

Kim's sister Kourtney tweeted, “Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!”

And Khloe chimed in, tweeting, “KIMYE! Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!”

Oh, I do adore them!
