Ohhh, I know how much many of you LOATHE when I blog about Kim Kardashian. But ohhhh, I know how much many of you LOVE when I blog about Kim Kardashian. And it's for the latter group that I'm writing this latest exciting Kimmy-Kim-Kim news — and, I suppose, this is also those of you in the former group who LOVE to LOATHE her.

Kim Kardashian and her baby-daddy, Kanye West, 36, are engaged! He popped the question on her 33rd birthday — Monday, October 21. Happy birthday, indeed!
According to E! News, Kanye did the deed at San Francisco's AT&T Park (which he rented for the big event) in front of their family and friends. As the orchestra played for Kim, the words "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" showed up on the stadium's jumbo screen. He then knelt on one knee and presented her with a 15-carat engagement ring by Lorraine Schwartz.
Earlier today, Kim shared the following awesome pic of the whole thing — and the bling! — on Instagram, and captioned it, "YES!!!"
As all of you (lovers and loathers) know, Kanye and Kim have a four-month-old daughter, North West. This is the first marriage for rapper Kanye and the third for Kim — her first husband was music producer Damon Thomas, and she divorced basketball player Kris Humphries last June.

The happy news comes amid a sea of sad relationship news for the Kardashian family: Kris and Bruce Jenner recently announced their separation, and Khloé Kardashian and her husband, Lamar Odom, are constantly in the news for their scandalous situation. Sighhh...
