Kim Kardashian: Baby name may not begin with K

THEY SAID IT WAS KAIDENCE. They got the unusual spelling and everything. But they may have been wrong!

Sources close to the couple are scoffing at rumours that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's new baby girl is named "Kaidence." They're saying the baby's name may not even start with "K" (which we all thought was inevitable, given the names of all the other women in the Kardashian family — Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie — and Kanye's own name).

Us Weekly got the scoop. "[Kim] not quite ready to announce the name yet," their sources say. "But the name definitely does not start with a K, despite all the rumors that have been out."

Sighh, and "Kaidence" was really starting to grow on me. They could have called her "Katy" for short. It's cute!

Still, you never know: The Kardashians are no doubt having some fun with us — and reveling, as they're never ashamed to do, in the major publicity this mystery name is bringing. I'll keep you posted!
