Kim Kardashian and Kanye West opt for charity donations as baby gifts

I told you she's a nice person. (LOVE!)

Your favourite celebrity mom-to-be, Kim Kardashian, 32, and her boyfriend (yes, apparently, they're still together), Kanye West, 35, are being awesome about baby gifts.

Instead of welcoming blinged-out gifts from their A-list celebrity pals and relatives, they've encouraged everyone to make a charitable donation to the Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Here's what the hospital has said in response:

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically ill babies and their families. We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby.

What a beautiful gesture. What do you think of Kim K, now? Hopefully, more celebs (and others who can afford to forego baby gifts) will follow their lead.

Kim and Kanye are currently staying in Paris while Kanye works on his latest album.
