Kate Middleton's new due date: July 19

Kate Middleton's due date reportedly wasn't as early as everyone thought.

The Great Kate Wait seems to be going on and on! But it turns out the Duchess of Cambridge may not have passed the projected due date at all.

The UK's Telegraph has it on good authority that the staff at St. Mary's Hospital, where Kate's set to give birth, have been preparing themselves for a July 19 due date (today!) -- so, not July 13, as everyone was lead to believe.

After all, the palace never actually said July 13; they only said "mid-July," so the media just assumed she's overdue.

"A small number of staff at St. Mary's who might be called upon when the Duchess gives birth were told they had to remain teetotal for a month before the Duchess's due date," the Telegraph source says.

"They were told the due date was July 19, meaning they couldn't drink from June 19 onwards."

"Only a handful of people were told, because there are very few hospital staff who might be needed in the case of an emergency."

So you can get up off the edge of your seat, I suppose? The royal baby might not arrive until August 2nd even -- if she's up to two weeks overdue.

I suppose, if you think about it, this all makes sense. Kate and William have been staying in Bucklebury, over 50 miles away from St. Mary's Hospital.... Plus, Kate's mother, Carole Middleton, has said the baby will likely be a Leo -- which means s/he will arrive after July 24! Interesting....

Of course, I'll keep you posted with any news!
