Jon Cryer's Father's Day & Ashton Kutcher deets

You know it's a slow day in celeb family news when I'm writing about Jon Cryer. It's not that he's not kinda cool in his own right. But let's face it, there's a reason gossip mags never feature him on their covers. News about Jon Cryer just wouldn't sell.

But I think that's a good thing for the Two and a Half Men star and his family at least. Obviously, they're getting some privacy. Or, maybe it pays to be the self-claimed funny, not-as-good-looking half....

Either way it's with great GUSTO that I bring you the above photo of Jon (46), his wife Lisa Joyner and their children Charlie (11) and Daisy (1.5) out and about for all to see on Father's Day. The sweet fam went for breakfast together and then to a Los Angeles Farmers' Market where they went on rides -- choo choo! -- and played games together.

A little Jon Cryer trivia: Charlie is actually Jon's son from a previous marriage. Lisa and Jon were married in 2007, and they adopted their daughter Daisy in 2009.

As many of you know already, Jon has a new costar (replacing Charlie Sheen) on Two and a Half Men, and it's ASHTON KUTCHER -- whom I love ever since I saw No Strings Attached with the most gorj woman in the world, Natalie Portman. Here's what Jon says about his new costar:

Ashton is an extraordinarily talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show. We are old friends from our male modeling days, and we're both looking forward to being judged for our comedic artistry, as opposed to our exceptional physical beauty.

I love the way Jon makes fun of himself. He's no Ashton Kutcher, but he's cute! Will you watch the new Two and a Half Men? I think I might now! Jon is FUNNY, and Ashton's hot....
