There's been some speculation around the cancellation of The Client List, which also starred Jennifer’s fiancé, Brian Hallisay. Deadline recently reported Jennifer, who's also an executive producer of the show, was in a "creative standoff" with Lifetime and Sony TV Production executives around how the show was going to write her pregnancy into the storyline.
One major point of contention was that Jennifer allegedly wanted her fiancé to play her baby-daddy on the show. Plus, the show's ratings had dropped so much in the second season — even with all the buzz around Jennifer's pregnancy.
