Is Jennifer Garner, 40, ready to go back to work after the birth of her third child with handsome hubby, Ben Affleck, 39?

It's been just over four months since baby Samuel was born, and Jennifer looks great. We love how she didn't turn into Twiggy just weeks after her pregnancy, like so many celeb moms seem to do.

She was photo'd yesterday taking a solo trip to an office in Beverly Hills, California. Maybe she's prepping for a new movie? Considering scripts? Or just putting her feet up and drinking some much-needed java...?

In any case, while Jen — looking très casual and cute, by the way, in a loose long-sleeved tee and skinny jeans — took a trip to an office to talk business, Violet was home with the nanny. If you didn't see this already, and even if you have, check out Violet and the nanny walking the family dog. So cute.

It's kind of neat to see Violet sans Mom or Dad. It's good to have some distance now and then, don't you think? And probably great for Jen to get off on her own. I know I needed that when my kids were really young and I stayed home.

I'll keep you posted on future gigs for Jen. I love seeing 40+ actresses busy! In fact, Julianne Moore is actually filming a movie at a school near my house. I tried to see if I could spot her in the chaos in front of the school on my way to work the other day — but nothing yet.

Discuss: We're trying to determine if that shirt is a tie-dye shirt.... Yea or nay? I say yea!

Love!
