It's a girl for Canadian skaters Jaime Sale and Craig Simpson!
Canadian figure skater Jaime Sale and her husband, former Oilers player Craig Simpson, have welcomed a baby girl.
It's a girl for Canadian figure skater Jamie Sale and former Edmonton Oilers player Craig Simpson! Isn't she cute?
The couple welcomed their first child last Sunday night. Sale shared the news on Twitter, along with the above photo. "Samantha Rae Simpson arrived today at 7:58 p.m. at 8lbs. 10oz. Mom and Sam are feeling great. Exciting day."

Sale and Simpson met in 2009 during CBC's Battle of the Blades (which they won), and they got married the following June.
This is the second child for Sale. She has a six-year-old child with former skating partner David Pelletier (with whom she also won gold in the 2002 Olympics). And this is the fourth child for Simpson -- he has three kids from a previous marriage.
Sale continues to tweet baby Sam's progress. “On our way home now....super happy and healthy! Lol do these babies come with manuals," she tweeted on their way home from the hospital (with an adorable photo of their baby strapped in the car seat).
