Jack and Lisa Osbourne suffer miscarriage

I'm sorry to report Jack Osbourne and his wife, blogger Lisa Osbourne, lost their baby.

Lisa, 26, was in her second trimester when she suffered a miscarriage. She shared the news early this morning in a blog post entitled "Unfortunate Announcement."

"I have been dreading this announcement," she writes. "I needed some time before being able to say it. Jack and I lost our baby boy last week."

"Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through," she continues. "We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives."

Later this morning, Lisa tweeted her thanks to fans for their support: “Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby and shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love and support. It means the world.”

Lisa and Jack, 27, got married last October and have one daughter, 16-month-old Pearl Clementine. We wish them well.

Jack starts dancing in the cast of Dancing with the Stars on September 16. Hopefully, that will help them move forward.
