Heidi Klum, Seal, kids & grandparents at the beach

That's sort of what I've been doing with my kids this week. Playing in the sand. Only not the glamorous sands of Sardinia where Heidi Klum, her hubby Seal and the gang are vacationing. I'm in Cottage Country, Ontario, on a quaint little lake with my little family, and I couldn't be happier!

I'm also not looking an iota as lean and fabulous as Heidi (38), who's wearing a chic bikini from her very own line. I'm basically wearing old maternity bikini bottoms and the clingy shirt I practised yoga in this morning. Not that you needed to know that, Gorgeouses. But the parallels between Heidi Klum and I are riveting..., no?

Joining Heidi, Seal and their four kids are Heidi's parents Gunther and Erna. And OMG, another parallel! One of my best friends, Jill, and I call each other Erna -- pronounced Errrrrrrna (so you know).

Papa Gunther helped lather Heidi in sunscreen -- after a quick change into another fabulous bikini....



...while Seal jogged on the beach....



And, of course, 2.5-year-old Lou Sulola sported an adorable SPF swim shirt.
