Fergie to take Josh Duhamel's name
Fergie is preparing legally to take husband Josh Duhamel's name.
Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, 38, is making preparations to legally change her name from Stacy Ann Ferguson to Fergie Duhamel -- obviously taking hubby Josh Duhamel's last name.
She's gone as far as going to court to legally change her names. TMZ got the story.

Fergie and Duhamel were married in 2009 and announced she was pregnant with their first child last February. Fergie's lawyer says she's been wanting to change her name for some time now to keep it in line with the name she both personally and professionally goes by.
She scheduled back in court August 16th.
Did you change your name when you got married? I did. I was 28 and wanted a fresh start -- with a fresh name. I'm also not the most sentimental person, so I didn't care much about the name I grew up with. At the same time, it was a cool challenge for me to let go of such a major part of my identity. I also liked the idea of having a family name -- that my kids, husband and I all shared.
